Meet Our Staff
Rector: The Rev. Leslie M. St. Louis came to Holy Trinity in April as the new rector. Rev. Leslie served St.
Paul’s Episcopal Church in Rochester, New York as the Youth and Family Minister for four years prior to coming to Holy
Trinity. She is a 2004 graduate of St. Luke's Seminary at The University of the South, Sewanee. Prior to becoming an
Episcopal priest, she enjoyed a long career in the medicine as a surgical scrub and a clinic coordinator for a
major hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Leslie enjoys gardening, sailing and spending time with her menagerie of beloved pets. Email: lstlouis@htrinity.org
Parish Secretary:
Michelle Upton became Parish Secretary in September 2007. Michelle moved to Bowie from Austin, Texas so that her
husband, Jeff, could assume the position of Pastor at the Bowie Church of Christ. The Uptons have two school-aged children,

Youth Minister: : John Daniels, the Chaplain at Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School, was called to the position of
Youth Minister by the Vestry at its October 2007 meeting. John, a native of Lambertville New Jersey, and a 2007 graduate
of the Virginia Theological Seminary, is married to Lori; the couple has four children. As Youth Minister, John is
responsible for working with the youth of the Parish and supporting the adult volunteers as well as assisting in
Sunday services. John, as a recipient of the 2007 Arthur F. McNulty Jr. Memorial Internship, previously worked
with the homeless and at-risk youths in Pittsburgh through an interfaith organization that is made up of faith
groups from the downtown area. John has served for two years as the on-call chaplain for Children's National Medical Center,
Washington, DC, and the Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, VA, and currently serves as chaplain for Washington Hospice
Center in Maryland. His experience includes mission trips to the Diocese of Louisiana for Katrina Relief and a HIV/AIDS
pilgrimage to the Diocese of Christ the King, Johannesburg, South Africa. The Vestry is excited about the experience and
ideas that John brings to this position as Holy Trinity works to rebuild the Youth Program. Email:
